Readers’ Choice Contest Rules

HOW TO ENTER: Complete the South Bay’s Best Readers’ Choice 2026 online ballot at scng.com/southbayvotes.

To be eligible to participate you must:

• Cast your vote between March 6, 2026 and April 5, 2026
• Complete the online registration form at the end of the ballot on scng.com/southbayvotes
• Cast a minimum of 5 votes in 5 different categories
• Submit only one online ballot per day per voting period

People who share a computer will be able to vote as long as each uses a separate login. Online ballots must be submitted between March 6, 2026 and April 5, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY: Voting is open only to legal US residents, who are physically located in and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older as of the start date of the contest period. Employees of the Torrance Daily Breeze & The Beach Reporter, its affiliates, retailers, subsidiaries, partners, advertising or promotion agencies, any agents acting for or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, licensees, or members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter this contest. Torrance Daily Breeze & The Beach Reporter, and all herein mentioned affiliates, shall not be responsible for any damages compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise with respect to or in any way arising from this contest.

Except as noted in these rules, information collected from the contest entries, whether online or otherwise, is strictly used only for the purpose of verifying contest participants and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Promotion Entities or any third parties unless entrant has elected to receive additional information and promotional material.

BUSINESS ELIGIBILITY: Only those businesses that register their business with a free Google Business profile will be eligible for nomination. Businesses can register in a few easy steps:
1. Add or claim your Google Business Profile at google.com/business
2. Update your complete business details, including service area, and add photos.
3. Verify your business, options depend on your business type, public info, region, or business hours. (This step can take up to 5 business days.)
4. Start gathering reviews from happy customers.
