On the fourth Sunday of every month, downtown Torrance comes together for the Torrance Antique Street Faire when over 200 sellers transform the streets into an eclectic open-air flea market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. With free admission and parking, the Faire has been a destination event for antique collectors for the past 21 years.
The Torrance Antique Street Faire debuted in October 1998 and has grown from 25 to over 200 vendors; it attracts thousands of people to downtown Torrance each month. Shoppers and vendors alike love the laid-back alternative to big, hot arena swap meets. The tree-lined streets, shops, music, appraisal booth and great restaurants add to the ambiance, making the Faire a favorite with vendors and shoppers.
On Oct. 27, 2019, the Faire will celebrate 21 years in downtown Torrance. Special anniversary activities include the Scout’s annual Howl-o-ween pet parade when costumed pets and their owners march down the streets of downtown Torrance.
The Antique Faire is once a month but Street Faire Antiques is a family-owned antique store that is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The store is located at 1317 Sartori in the heart of downtown Torrance featuring 4,000 square feet of vintage furniture, jewelry, books, gifts, records and more. Every Thursday our expert appraiser is available to evaluate your treasures for only $3 per item.
We are honored that Daily Breeze readers have once again voted the Torrance Antique Street Faire as the best place for antiques in the South Bay.
