The owner’s of the South Bay’s Best Italian Restaurant, Gaetano’s Restaurant, recently opened a new South Bay hot spot in Redondo Beach called Bettolino Kitchen. Bettolino Kitchen is a modern take on Italian food with homemade pastas and dishes like beet caprese and duck risotto with baby kale and truffle oil and Gaetano’s is where you go to get all your favorite Italian classics that grandma used to make like chicken parmigiana or lasagana. Owner’s Vince Giuliano, Sean Liguore & Andreanna Giuliano Liguore opened Bettolino with the help of Michelin-starred Italian Chef Fabio Ugoletti. Although Fabio has only been in the country for less than a year, he already won his first award as South Bay’s Favorite Chef. Bettolino Kitchen offers an amazing lunch special known as the “Betto Box.” It is their take on the traditional Japanese Bento Box but with a modern Italian Flare. The Betto Box changes everyday and is served from 11 to 4 pm.
