South Bay native Dr. James W. Mellert is the son and grandson of dentists who inspired him with their passion and commitment to patient care. With Dr. Steven Brown, Dr. Jamie Mellert Houck and his longtime staff, he proudly continues that tradition. Striving for the optimum patient experience, Dr. Mellert and his staff combine skill, compassion and personal caring through each phase of the patient’s visit. They understand that dental anxiety is real and is most often the cause of delaying treatment which can further compromise dental health. Each member of the dental team strives to empower the patient with a focus on patient comfort to reduce anxiety and allow the patient to be in control throughout the treatment process. The practice places special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry that includes gum grafting to cover exposed roots, periodontal and implant dentistry, as well as offering flexibility to assist with same day emergency service and second opinion examinations.
