Thank you for voting Torrance Memorial’s Hunt Cancer Center the Best Cancer Center in the South Bay. We are honored and proud to earn this distinction in the community especially during an exciting and transformational time for cancer treatment. The 40,000-square-foot Hunt Cancer Center opened in December 2019. Now, nearly two years later, it has established itself as a community cancer care focal point, providing state-of-the-art, comprehensive treatment for South Bay residents. Designed with patients in mind, the light-filled center brings expertise, patient convenience and advanced treatments into one location.

Located on the Torrance Memorial campus, the Hunt Cancer Center provides complete cancer services in a patient-centered environment from nurse navigators to genetic counseling services, clinical research trials, and infusion and chemotherapy therapies. The clinic spaces are designed with spacious exam rooms that allow the practitioners, patients and family members an interactive environment for the discussion and diagnosis of their care. Along with standard treatment methods, patients have access to integrative medicine modalities such as aromatherapy, yoga breathing and positioning techniques, to treat the patient’s overall body, mind and spirit.

Torrance Memorial’s partnership with Cedars-Sinai brings more cancer experts to the South Bay, providing patients with access to the expertise of renowned cancer leaders from one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. This means South Bay residents have access to the most advanced cancer treatments and clinical trials, close to home.

Providing a team approach to treatment and a patient-physician partnership meeting the needs of our cancer patients right here in the South Bay is the focus of the Hunt Cancer Center.
